I am a college graduate and work in the field of animal rescue. I had years of experience volunteering in shelter environments prior to my employment. I had dogs all through my childhood and have always been an animal lover, opening my home to 5 dogs and 3 cats so far during my adulthood. I have worked at three humane societies in Ohio; the Cleveland Animal Protective League, the Toledo Area Humane Society, and the Friendship Animal Protective League. I can provide references for all jobs. I have experience with dogs and cats of all breed, size, and age. I also have limited experience with small animals (rabbits, rodents, reptiles, birds). I have worked with dogs with behavioral problems such as aggression, anxiety, leash pulling, and over-stimulation. I am comfortable working with numerous dogs at a time. I am able to administer oral and injected medications and I am also able to provide basic training and grooming.
