Hi! My name is Suzette. To say I like dogs would be an understatement. I absolutely LOVE them! I take walks in my neighborhood all the time and many of my neighbors are often out walking their dogs. They really get a kick out of how excited I am to interact with their dogs and how much their dogs enjoy interacting with me as well. My husband and I were happy dog parents to our babies Calley, a beautiful Boxer Terrier mix, and Shiley, an adorable Border Collie Lab mix for many years. We adopted them from a local rescue when they were about nine months old and we had them until they passed away at ages 14 and 15. We miss them dearly. Dogs bring so much joy to life that when I heard about Rover.com, I just had to sign up! I have served as a dog sitter for friends, and for over five years I served as a volunteer bark buddy with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). During my time at the SPCA, I worked with every type of dog you can imagine. I assisted with training them on basic commands, giving them much needed love and play time, and helping to find them forever homes. I also assisted with training new volunteers. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member!
