Special needs Helicopter Dog Mom!

Pet care experience

My name is Suzanne, I am a dog mom, an animal lover, & a Reiki Master Practitioner helping to heal people & pets. My heart has never been the same since adopting my 2 dogs. I have no shame in admitting, I am a helicopter dog mom. They are most important to me. I know what it's like to want the best care for your animals & to make sure they are being treated as you would. I never leave them with anyone without leaving a detailed list! So, please feel free to ask me as many questions as you need so you can feel comfortable in your decision with my services. Kya was my 13 1/2 year old chocolate lab. She was my first dog, my greatest love, & my best friend. Sadly, she passed 4 months ago. Buster is my 13 year old Boston Terrier mix. He is blind, he loves life. He is the most affectionate, brave, courageous, smart dog, with early dementia. I got them both as puppies & I am so grateful to have found them. I love all animals, but there is something about the eyes of a dog, that grab a hold of me. The best feeling is seeing in their eyes that they trust me, especially after only one walk! I love when dogs are able to do the things that make their heart smile.. I always put myself in the animal's shoes, as they don’t have a voice & their behaviors are often misunderstood, and then they are mistreated. I am super protective of them. Your dog will have fun, and will always feel safe, adored & respected with me. You will get pictures & follow up texts with details of how the visit went. They will be greeted with love & treated with kindness. Hope to Have a meet & greet with you soon ! Thank you

I was lucky enough to have Suzanne as my dog walker, and let me tell you she really is a dog whisperer! My pug Rico would get so excited when I would say Suzi’s coming and start barking right away. I have to Golden’s too and more than the pug really needed the exercise and it was such a relief when she would come, she totally tuckered them out. I would highly recommend her for your pet services as she is so loving and caring with animals.

Suzanne was amazing with our dogs. Her true love for dogs shows, her passion to make sure every pet has the best life possible is second to none. She has been walking my 2 dogs for some time now and has helped out with vet appointments too. I can not recommend her enough, if you are reading this you are crazy if you do not book with her.

Suzanne is by far my favorite dog walker! She is so loving and attentive to my dog, he LOVES seeing Suzanne! She is very easy to work with and an overall kind and loving person. Suzanne treats all dogs as if they were her own and always has a dogs best interest in mind! I cannot say enough good things about her and her love for dogs!

Suzanne is by far the most competent dog walker I have ever hired. I wanted someone reliable and trustworthy, naturally, but I also needed someone kind, caring, and loving. This is Suzanne. I have a busy life with a husband who travels and two dogs and a child so it was important to find someone who I could rely on. That is a big word. Suzanne is loyal and reliable but what is so wonderful about her is her peaceful presence around my dogs. She calms them, tends to them, and just as important...she enjoys them. Charlie and Angel love their time with Suzanne. Their favorite activity is swimming in the lake with Suzanne!

Information Suzanne T. would like to know about your pet

All breeds welcomed. I would like to know as much information as possible about your dog please. Health, allergies, medications, any trauma, behavior patterns/concerns. How they interact with other dogs & children. Their fears, likes, and dislikes. Which foods/treats they prefer. I would like to know how you handle any of the above so I can follow along with you. Also their favorite walking routine. Please also leave me with emergency contact & vet information. I want to be sure their needs, likes & wants are met.

A typical day

We can walk in your neighborhood, go to your dog's favorite walking trail or swimming place. I would prefer to avoid off leash dog parks as I would not want to put your dog in unpredictable harms way with other off leash dogs. We also can play at your house, inside or outside, especially if it is too hot out/stormy out. Walking in the rain or the winter months is not a problem as long as it's not harsh temperatures. We could also play in the snow! If you have a pool, they can swim. Although I am not a dog trainer, I do have experience with basic commands & potty training if you needed help. If they would like a walking partner, I could bring my dog as well, but only if you wanted. My lab had arthritis and hip dysplasia, so I understand a senior dog's needs of a slow place & mobility help. My Boston Terrier mix has always had high energy, so I also understand a dog's need to move at a quick pace. If they were feeling lazy or under the weather, just a comforting presence & affection I can do! Please note I am not certified in CPR, I've had plenty of experience with first aid, veterinary specialists & emergency room vet visits. I can administer medicine as Both my dogs require(d) daily medicine for health issues. Also have dealt with anxiety issues as well.
