My name is Suzanne. I am a special education preschool teacher. I have had pets all my life, from dogs to rabbits to hedgehogs. I have cared for a variety of breeds and species and I love all animals. ❤️🐶🐱🐹🐰🐭🐷🐢🐠🦜🦔 I was born and raised in Alaska and I love walking the beautiful trails, especially with a furry friend! Besides owning pets all my life, I have over ten years of professional experience house/pet sitting. I can house sit anywhere from Girdwood to Meadow Lakes currently. During certain times of the year, I can also board pets in my home. I have a fully fenced yard and plenty of space. Check my calendar for availability. ☺️

Suzanne did a great job watching my 3 dogs while I was gone and provided updates on how they were doing. If I ever needed to get ahold of her she was always very prompt in responding back to me. My dogs were well taken care of while I was away and I would definitely book with her again in the future!

We can provide potty breaks in our fenced yard when boarding, walks along the trails (we love long walks), and lots of play time. We will feed according to your schedule and provide fresh water frequently. I am not a professional bather/groomer, but I am happy to help with basics. I do not mind pets on my furniture or in my bed, but please let me know if you prefer to not get your pets in this habit. ☺️

It is important for me to know about any allergies, medications, illnesses, and dietary restrictions for the animals. Please let me know if you do not want your pets to go on the furniture (because I don’t mind, but I don’t want to get your pets into habits you don’t appreciate ☺️). I do not have any breed restrictions.
A typical day
We will play, run around the yard, go for long walks, and relax. My favorite walks are along the coastal trail and by Lake Hood. I also enjoy the dog parks! I also love having a furry companion to binge Netflix with, and I love cuddles!

Availability
I am currently substitute teaching, so I work when I want. If you have high-needs pets, I can be sure to take short jobs to spend more time with them if necessary. Additionally, my husband has a more available schedule and can be at home most of the time, and he also loves animals and has pet sitting experience. He often joins me on pet sitting jobs, as long as it is okay with you.
