I recently put grass all down my side yard for games with my friends, but a game of fetch is much better suited when I have fur company over. I also have a smaller play pool if they like to take a dip to cool off. Or maybe they want to float on the raft while I hold a bowl of water for them. I've had pets my whole life. Funny how my family named all of our dogs, miniature schnauzers, after trees. Willow, Aspen, Oakly. I have many moons of caring for my own pets. My Maltese, Waggly, was given to me by my brother. He saw how much I loved him. It was the worst thing I ever happened when the inevitable happened. My parents didn't want me to go through that pain again, but I couldn't be without my furry buddy. Enter Maximus! I rescued him and he was the best thing in the universe. He debated whether or not to take a treat. He put his kibble all over the floor before he eats it. And he ran to the door for a ride (not a walk) when I put my shoes on. Unfortunately I lost him in January 2023. I know he will come back reincarnated to me when the time is right. For now I get to give all other dogs my love and attention! I'm sure you've noticed I'm new to Rover. Don't let that scare you. I love, Love, LOVE animals! My parents who live in CT and FL pay homage to me anytime they drive by a dog on the sidewalk. They "coo" at it and laugh because that is always what I do when I pass an animal. They are the best and warm my heart. Your pet will be beyond spoiled with me. I can't wait to be their surrogate while you are away. I know they are your family and when they are here they are MY family. With the craziness in the market, I wanted to bring more love and smiles into my home. I work from home and when it's tough with rates or finding families homes, I love to look over and see the wonderful fur all around me. It brings me joy (and my blood pressure down). I will be here 24/7 for your precious pet to play, love, feed and of course, potty breaks. LOL I have a doggie door that they can use if they are accustomed to it. My back yard has a high wall and synthetic grass all along the side yard. My dog is a bit shy, but is fine with other dogs. He gets along famously with my neighbor's Australian Shepherd. I'll feed them when it's time, continually fill the water bowl, play with them and give them belly rubs and scratches if they like that.
