From a 10 year old Bernese Mountain dog to a sweet, new puppy, I love all dogs! Been living in fairhope for 4 years and have had great clients! I live near downtown fairhope. My priority is to be sure your dog is safe, happy and well-treated. Also happy with any specific instructions if needed. I cannot board your dog, but happy to come to you. I look forward to caring for your dog. If you have two dogs that already live in the same house, I will consider taking care of both of them. It’s not a problem if it’s short notice or over the weekend, I am retired and usually available. I look forward to meeting you. Be sure to check my calendar! 🐶

This was the first time we used Rover and Suzanne quickly allayed all our anxieties. She made our dog Gunny very comfortable from the start with her easy going and soothing manner and it was quite apparent that Gunny was in very good hands indeed. Suzanne even forwarded a photo of Gunny relaxing in her back yard, a very thoughtful gesture. We highly recommend Suzanne as a sitter par excellence and would use her services again in a heartbeat.
So professional and what’s more important is that my dog loves Sue.

I always get information about the dogs before the job begins, such as veterinarian and phone number, any medication’s needed, contact information for the owners, while they are away.
A typical day
I try to meet any requests from the dog owner. If the owners yard is fenced in, the dogs can play outside while I watch over them. If they are used to walks a on leash and the neighborhood isn’t heavily trafficked, that’s great. If the owners prefer I can drive the dogs to a place where they like to take them on walks (on leash.)

I’m retired, and yet very active. I am an artist, with many years of experience of working as an art teacher, in an office and also on my own. My weekly schedule is mostly open, although I do take some trips to visit my grandchildren.
