Growing up I always wanted a dog but couldn't have one. I started out pet-sitting in my teen years. When I bought my first home the first thing I did was adopt a yellow lab from the local shelter. Training him was a challenge (was abused before, separation anxiety), but it was the best decision I ever made! He passed last year at age 14 and now I have a chocolate lab (Lincoln) to share my life with. Just moved to Phoenix and I don't live in a pet friendly condo where I'm staying initially so I wasn't able to bring Lincoln with me yet. He's well cared for in Detroit by my cousin, and I hope to bring him out here when I move to my next home. I really miss having a dog around so I would enjoy spending time with your pets.
