Your pet will receive my full attention. I'll provide enrichment, exercise, and the special care he or she deserves. I love to encourage the dogs to sniff to get to know their neighbors through their olfactory sense. I can customize the walk for a high energy dog or a or a slower senior. On a walk, safety is first. At home, we could play games and, depending upon the pups interest or ability, we could work on new skills and tricks. If your pup would enjoy sitting together on the sofa with lots of ear and belly rubs, that's perfect, too!!! While I care for your pet, I can administer medications, vitamins, and apply flea treatments. I'm adept at handling and treating canine epilepsy and am skilled at administering medications orally, rectally, and by subcutaneous injection. I can also care for your kitties, guinea pigs, gerbils, and lizards! :) As a shelter volunteer, I've gained experience working with dozens and dozens of dogs of all breeds - it also resulted in bringing home a beautiful, dog reactive, lab mix with anxiety issues. Volunteering with human hospice's pet care program has brought a gorgeous White German Shepherd, with severe epilepsy and fear issues, into our lives. Caring and working with special needs dogs is an passion of mine.
