I have always grown up around pets and therefore have adapted many skills to meet animals need such as being patient and recognizing behavioral changes. I honestly feel that these are necessities for pets and I 100% believe that they should be treated the same as us (yes that is why I let them on my couches and furniture). I will treat the pet as my own and make sure they have really nice long walks for their benefit and not mine , meaning I won’t just take them on short walks. I also tend to talk to the dogs , that’s just my habit but I feel that will make them feel more comforted and less stressed from being away from home as humans would generally be.
