Hi you can call me Don! My best friends growing up were my six rescue dogs. After relocating to the U.S I felt awful leaving all of my dogs behind. I never got to see them again. I missed them so much that I started to walk dogs while going to school and took care of them when the owners went out of town. As I grew older I kept working with dogs that lacked clear communication. So I spent time earning their trust and worked on finding what motivated them. I did my best to help them problem solve in order to coexist in this world. Over the years my primary work has been rehabilitating dogs that suffer from, lack of confidence, guidance and overall mild aggression. Working at daycare facilities, I am used to being around 45+ dogs on a regular basis, feeding, playing, and cleaning up messes. From morkis to mastiffs, I have worked with a variety of dogs, one on one and in group play, ranging from basic commands to desensitization work. Spending time with packs and always advocating for them, helping them decompress and problem solve was my favorite. I value the dogs “needs” before the owners “wants.” Just like humans every dog has its own unique personality, so my methods and the approach I take change based on the dog that is in front of me.
