Reliable & Detail Oriented Sitter

Pet care experience

Hey there! Thank you for checking out my profile! ⭐️Please review all of the information I provide to help see if we are a good fit. ⭐️ Please browse my reviews as well!😁🐾 ❤️If you have any questions about your pup being social or if your dog has had aggressive interactions with other dogs I am NOT a good fit. Pups who come here need to be social with different sized dogs and breeds from different families. I am not a fit for socializing your pup. They need to be socialized before any meet and greet is suggested. All pups need to be very social with 3-6 dogs at a time❤️. Please respect my goal for safety for all in the household and do not put any of my clients at risk. 🐾I am only taking BOARDING in my home for the foreseeable future🐾. 🔔I am now booking in to 2024! 🔔 ****Pups with excessive energy would be a better fit at another home, especially if the excessive energy causes the tendency to bother dogs who are tired with such behaviors as biting ears/feet and generally annoying resting pups because they are bored even after a normal amount of exercise. Please note Rover has many good sitters for pups with higher energy levels. I will be happy to refer you to a sitter that I personally have met and trust if I think you would be a good fit. **** I specialize in a very “at home” environment for pups with special attention to managed care for each pup as well as lots of time to socialize and play together and 1:1 time with me. I have taken care of pups for over two decades and have always adored all the fur babies I get the privilege of caring for! 💛💜Now booking for LSU football games in 24’ 💜💛 Please note that for LSU games, DROP OFF is the DAY BEFORE the game. PICK UP is the day AFTER the game. 💜💛NO SAME DAY PICK UP AND DROP OFF FOR LSU GAMES. 💜💛 If your pup has any behavior issues, a Rover home with less pups from different families will likely be a better fit for you. There are many sitters here on Rover.🌟 🌟Please note: I do watch pups from a few families at a time. These are all very well socialized and they also do not have any aggressive tendencies or unpredictable behaviors. *⚠️If your pup is prone to growling, possessive and/or unpredictable behavior that could cause a liability for myself and all pups in the home, I’d be happy to refer you out to another trusted sitter. If not, Rover has so many wonderful sitters that may be a better fit. They may take no other pups, or just have 1 pup and that may be a better fit for us and you. 🌟ALL pups must be spayed/neutered AND on flea and heart worm meds WITHOUT current fleas or heart worms and current on all shots, especially kennel cough. 🌟 If your pup is found to be ill or with any fleas or other health issues that impact the other pups in my home, your emergency contact will be called to come pick up your fur baby immediately. Any drop off fees will be applied if I have to drop your pup off at their home due to any preexisting issue of the sort that you have not notified me about and no refund will be given. It is very important to me that I protect the safety of all pups in my home. I thank you for clearly understanding this policy.

I could not be happier that we have found Susannah. She is wonderful. She sent so many great pictures and videos of my boy having the best time. She definitely made me feel at ease leaving my baby with her for the week. I would not hesitate to leave my doodle with her again and again!

Can’t speak highly enough! Our dog was loved and cared for the entire time. She sent pictures and checked in regularly so we knew he was doing good. Truly thankful for the care she gave him and the peace of mind she gave us!!!

I was a little hesitant to leave my dog with other dogs at the same time but everything went well! She sent plenty pics to ensure that my dog was safe and doing great. Definitely would rebook!

I booked with Susannah and was very nervous about boarding my Doodle. During our meet and greet, she suggested a trial night to ease any of my concerns. My Doodle has good bit of anxiety and I was worried how he would do. She made me feel very comfortable. She gave me so many updates, pics, and videos on how he was doing. She was so patient and good with him and also very understanding of my concerns as well. I am so much more confident to leave him for our upcoming vacation. I know she will take such good care of him and I won’t have anything to worry about. It is very clear that she is an animal lover and very experienced with caring for them. I highly recommend her for your fur babies!

Safety, trust & environment

At my house, I have a doggie door, 8ft privacy fence and a large yard for the pups to run! I am in the process of building a dog park in the yard for more mental and physical stimulation for the fur babies. Pups typically sleep in my room with me unless parents want them in a kennel. You must provide a kennel if so. Please bring any items that will help your fur baby have a great stay such as any blanket/bed/kennel that makes them feel comfortable. Please leave any toys that you don’t want to get chewed at home. The pups share toys and I keep a large bucket of doggie toys for everyone’s enjoyment!

Information Susannah S. would like to know about your pet

All dogs need to be potty trained, HAVE TO BE neutered AND/OR spayed (unless a small Puppy) and socialized. Please bring puppy pads if necessary. I’d like to know any triggers they have, what bad habits do they have, what they enjoy and what comforts them while their owner is away. Is your dog territorial? Aggressive at all (food or toy is most common) and in what circumstances? What flea/heart worm meds are they on? Does your dog have anxiety when we have bad weather? If so, how do they respond? How does your pup respond to bad weather?

A typical day

My house is a quiet and peaceful one inside. I am most ideal for fur babies who need a peaceful resting environment mixed with playing and socializing while their parents are traveling. Pups with excessive energy would be a better fit at another home, especially if the excessive energy causes the tendency to bother dogs who are tired with such behaviors as biting ears/feet and generally annoying resting pups because they are bored even after a normal amount of exercise. Please note Rover has many good sitters for pups with higher energy levels. I leave daily for a work out. I am typically not gone more than 2-4 hours at one time. This environment is NOT ideal for pups with destructive habits, too much rough play, biting territorial or instigating behavior with other dogs and excessive barking. PUPS WITH A PREY DRIVE ARE NOT A GOOD FIT HERE. There anre other sitters who would be more suitable for you and your fur baby?. All pups I watch are well socialized. When we are outside, we play a lot! We also walk the perimeter of the yard for safe exercise. Oliver is the most social and patient pupper. He is very relaxed and gentle and great with all fur babies. ?Please understand that if my boy isn’t comfortable and relaxed with a potential pup, we will not proceed with the booking. ? He doesn’t like when pups bite his legs, ears or collar.
