I'm a huge animal lover and have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life! I love other people's animals as if they were my own. I professionally walked dogs during college in Chicago, and until last year, we had our our dog for 7yrs - our beloved mixed Basset Hound who got cancer at the end of 2016 and passed alway. I continue to help take care of family and friends' pets and have experience with elderly dogs and administering oral medication along with other medical needs. We have a toddler, born the beginning of '17, and lost our dog right before he was born. We aren't ready to have a permanent dog of our own so I'm ready to give a BUNCH of love to other dogs out there and hope to expose our son to different types of dogs as well! (That being said we're only open to dogs that are kid friendly - but I also won't let our toddler climb on or pull your dog's hair). I am home full-time and have a flexible schedule! I love taking walks/jogs and I live in quiet subdivision with minimal traffic that would be very safe for any animal! We have a fenced-in yard and a very large deck, and lots of little areas to explore. Open to dogs on furniture depending on level of shedding and when supervisied. Dog would need to be ok if limited to tiled area (kitchen) if I ran out for a short errand. I also can send picture updates, too, to provide frequent check-ins! I'm here to provide a peace of mind - that your furry family member is in good hands!
