Your Local Experienced Vet Tech

Pet care experience

Hello there! Meet me, Suzy, your tireless and fun-filled partner in pet pampering, just brimming with the patience needed to cater to your little fur balls. My home, and your pet's vacation spot, is a lived-in haven of comfort where they are free to roam, rest, and rejuvenate at their leisure. As a former Vet Tech, I bring professional knowledge to my passion for dog care, offering a reliable hand, especially for those requiring special medical attention. Along with a wealth of personal experience with various dog breeds, both large and small, I am well-equipped to accommodate each pet's unique quirks and needs. From my experience as a voluntary assistant at a Shelter to my ever-growing family of well-mannered pet guests, I've always believed in fostering a warm, loving, and safe environment. That way, both you and your furry friend can find the serene home-away-from-home experience you seek while you're apart. My typical day working and homeschooling at home translates to all-day companionship for your pups: they'll never feel alone with me around! Our shared bonding time might even include strolls, as I love walks just as much as your dogs do. Curious to take a peek into our homely pet cathedral? Catch a glimpse of our adorable antics and updates from our recent stays on my newly created Instagram, Suzy.k9s. Balancing roles as a full-time mom and a work-from-home professional, your pets enjoy round-the-clock care and company, save for the occasional local errand. Safety remains paramount in our home: pre-arrangement discussions are critical to make sure we're a great fit. So, if you're on the hunt for a laid-back, loving family to host, care, and share genuine family-like moments with your pet, the search ends here. Excited to chat about your needs and meet your adorable pups soon!

Susana is the best. I always know Minnie is being taken care of. I receive photos and recordings with updates on what Minnie has been up to. She is always happy to stay with Susana and her family.

A typical day

In our home, the pups are granted the freedom to roam and explore, allowing them to truly be themselves. They can hang out, play, and enjoy moments of pure fun and relaxation. Their bowls are always accessible, encouraging them to nourish themselves whenever hunger strikes. For those who are still learning the ropes of house training, we kindly request that a kennel is provided at night, ensuring their comfort and a peaceful sleep for all. Throughout the day, our furry guests are given plenty of options for entertainment. They can engage in playtime, find cozy corners to rest and recharge, savor their meals with gusto, and even indulge in the pleasure of watching TV – their excitement and curiosity are simply irresistible. Our 4 and 7 year-old children share in my passion for pups, embracing their nurturing and respectful nature towards the dogs that join our family. Your pup will receive full attention and affection around the clock, becoming a beloved member of our household. In our home, we foster a warm and friendly atmosphere, making your pup feel like they are with a trusted family member. We firmly believe that these wonderful creatures are like humans in their own special way, deserving of love, care, and a place to call their own. When you entrust your pup to our care, they become part of our extended family. Imagine a typical day filled with laughter, wagging tails, and contented snoozes – a day where your pup experiences a sense of belonging and unconditional love. Our home is a sanctuary of love and comfort, ensuring that your furry family member thrives and flourishes under our watchful and caring eyes. So, let us welcome your pup into our homely embrace. Together, we will create beautiful moments, lasting memories, and a bond that will endure through the years. Rest assured that your beloved pup will be treated with the utmost care and affection, just like a treasured family member.
