I love, love, love dogs. All dogs. I grew up with boxers my whole life and currently have 2 pugs, Orson and Stanley. We love our smooshy-faced dogs, I guess. I've cared for dogs since I was a kid. And am used to a lot of temperments and issues. My current babies couldn't be more different. Stan is so chill, but needed care for bad hips as a puppy and takes eye drops every night. Orson is healthy as can be, but is so high-strung by nature and has issues with anxiety. I love them both the same and have learned to care and tend to their different needs. They are also finicky - about food, certain textures to walk on (c'mon!) and who they gravitate towards. In other words, I've learned to adapt and cater to their needs. To me, dogs are family. That means they deserve specialized attention and to be able to hang out on the couch and beds too! Your pup, so long as they get along with other dogs, will be in good hands and entertained! My partner and I both work fulltime, though my job as a writer is flexible so I am able to work from home when needed. We live just a few blocks from a dog park and human park, and love exploring. While my lazy pugs only need a half-hour or so out per walk, I love to walk with dogs and explore and can take yours out for an extra hour or so if need be! (I miss my boxers for this reason!)
