Just picked up my dog Bubbles after leaving her with Susan for 5 nights so I could be out of town to attend the end of life events of a close relative of mine. It was my first time leaving Bubbles for this long let alone with someone new and Susan was amazing at caring for her as well as erasing my anxieties I had. I got daily updates and great pictures of Bubbles. I was told Bubbles got along amazingly with Susan's cats and enjoyed lots of cuddles with Susan after quickly warming up to her. when I picked Bubbles up she was so excited thinking Susan was taking her for a walk she did notice me until I said her name then gave me a face full of kisses. I'm so thankful and extremely pleased with Susan's care. Needless to say if Susan is available to care for Bubbles the next time I need it I'll be booking with her again. I highly recommend her.

NEGLECTFUL CARE. Pulled probably over ten Foxtails (plant spikes) embedded in my baby's paws. I think its pretty basic knowledge that if you let a dog out over unlanscaped terrain to check their paws and coat for any debris or burrs afterwards. My dog has been even recently been groomed with a short hair cut so it would have been easy to give him a once over. We let him stay 4 nights and she sent me updates but she didn't tell me about how red and swollen his paws were until I was on my way to pick him up. By the time we got him, his back paws was a mess, red, swollen and even a little bloody and very much in distress and pain. It took us two minutes and a flashlight to see what the problem was. I don't know how long she let his paws be like that but it definitely takes time to accumulate that many spikes. I feel like she didn't check on or give him much attention at all if she didn't notice something was wrong. We chose her bc of the good reviews and bc she has a fenced in backyard, but what good is that if its overgrown and full of weeds and spikes unsuitable for a small breed.. It doesn't seem like she knows the basics of dog care and safety.
