I have always been a dog lover and sadly recently lost my beloved dog Buffy after 18 years. At the moment we do not want another dog because we have recently retired and plan to visit our daughter in Australia more regularly and do not want the restriction of finding dog care. Buffy never went to any dog boarding kennels, I always wanted a home environment for her and I know how difficult it can be to find that kind of care. My experience of finding a home away from home prompted me to join DogBuddy. I regularly mind my daughters dog and love taking her for long walks, there are many dog friendly walks near to my home. I occasionally mind my grandchildren, who have all be taught to be respectful of dogs. I would take of any dog as if they were Buffy.
