I’m a registered nurse looking to spend more time with the animals I love! For 17+ years now I’ve been helping to take care of my parents’ dogs (my sisters) as well as the dogs & cats of friends and neighbors. I prefer to take care of pets in their own homes, as they are more comfortable. However if the owner wishes I can have dogs in my home as long as they don’t mind my cats. And I’m happy to care for cats, though not in my home. As an RN I’m comfortable giving both oral & injectable medications, and I’m certified in pet CPR and first aid. I’ve cared for dogs & cats from infancy through their senior years. Whether it’s a walk, a visit, or you’re going on vacation for two weeks I’ll be there for your kits & pups!

We never thought we would have an experience like this especially with Apollo having high anxiety and timid around new people. Susan went above and beyond to make Apollo and us feel comfortable. She sent tons of pictures and videos to show how Apollo was comfortable and loving the attention she was giving him.

Susan was wonderful. Immediate response to my request for a dog sitter, and immediately scheduled a meet and greet. Unfazed by our dog's initial shyness, and had good questions about our dog and our house that reassured me that Lyra (and our house) was being left in good hands. She arrived punctually the day we left and kept us updated with texts and photos. We will definitely contact Susan for dog care again.
She managed to get our cranky boy to allow her to pet him. I am not sure how she managed that. He doesn't like anyone except us. That's huge. The other 2 enjoyed lots of attention and treats.
