Pet care experience
We don’t deserve dogs, but boy I’m glad they exist… They’re my best friends! I’ve grown up with dogs and always begged my parents for more (they wouldn’t get more than two at a time). I spent all my free time with them: brushing them, waking them, swimming with them, cuddles, hiking, kisses, playing, you name it! I’m my family and friends go-to dog sitter and walker. I’ve been doing this my entire life and have been house sitting since I could drive. Whether your dog is active and high maintenance, or low-key and sleepy, I’m your gal! I’m 110% happy to run around with your fur baby, or cuddle up and nap with them on the couch! Being with dogs is my happy place! I’m flexible, so I’m sure we can work something out! :) *Note to add: if you’re looking for overnight care, you’d have to allow a doggie sleepover as I’d have my super sweet/friendly 16 month golden retriever, Ginger, with me. If you’re only looking for “day” care, than this won’t apply to you as she will remain at home :)

Susan was great! My little pup was very well taken care of and I got constant updates while I was away.
Strangely fantastic with dogs. The instant she met my six year old GSD/malamute mix he fell in love with her. He walks better with her than he does with me, is 100% caring 100% of the time and is very considerate of safety.

I follow YOUR rules. If you have a fenced in yard and don’t mind them without a leash, you got it. If you prefer them on leash at all times, away from other dogs, you got it! You’ll get frequent updates and pictures to ease any nerves while you’re away, and so you can see their happy faces :)

You tell me what I need to know! What do they like to do?? Do they prefer fetch or Tug-o-war? Off leash or on leash? How are they with other dogs/ people/ cars during walks? What would make them most comfortable with a new human in their space?
A typical day
I love most things that your dog does… except for sniffing butts, I prefer not to do that. Haha! Anything from Walking to running, Swimming, Hiking, Playing tug-o-war or fetch!, Cuddling, Belly rubs, Kisses, or Anything else that your loved fur baby may need!

Availability
My work schedule operates in a hybrid-type fashion, and can be flexible, so I can work from home. This means more time spent with dogs :).
