Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs and cats since I was roughly 15 years old. I have potty trained, learned to administer different forms of medication, and helped different dog breeds grow accustom to being around other dogs and cats. I love to take the time to play with the dogs and teach them new tricks like fetch or shake or other various activities that work my pet’s reflexes.

Susan is exceptional with dogs. In fact, I've never seen a pet that hasn't approached her. She has a one year old fur baby named Joey, and he is her world just as she is his. She also has a senior cat, so she knows her way around the block when it comes to taking care of animals. I would recommend Susan to anyone needing walkies, house visits, or overnight stays for their 4-legged children.
Susan has a dog and a cat who absolutely love her and as her friend I have seen her put immense amount of effort and time for them regardless of how tired she would be with school and work responsibilities. She had true passion for taking care of pets and gets attached to them the minute she meets any dog or cat. She will make a great sitter and you can put all trust in her to do her job.

I have a wide open back yard at my apartment complex where I let my dog Joey run and get in some exercise. We also take frequent trips to Suggs park in Collierville where Joey loves socializing with other dogs and their owners. Joey is crate trained so we have an extra large crate if your dog requires that. Logan our cat is friendly with dogs, but also skiddish so if we need to keep them separate Logan will have no problem staying to himself.

I think the most important thing would be to know whether or not the pet gets along with other animals that way I can make arrangements based on the client’s needs. I would also like to know other various details such as food preference, typical sleeping arrangements, how much outside time they need, normal bathroom/feeding schedules, leash requirements, and whether or not they are friendly with other people. All of these details are important in creating a comfortable stay for your pet which is the ultimate goal.
A typical day
I currently live in a gated apartment complex in Collierville so a lot of our walks will be around the complex to the pool and down to the military cemetery about a half mile down the road. I also enjoy taking the dogs to Suggs dog park a fenced in place where the dogs can run and have a good time (as long as the dogs can get along) ?

I am currently in graduate school at UT for a doctorate degree. My days during the summer are very laid back and open for all kinds of playing whether it be with puppies or kitties. I am very flexible in terms of hours and am willing to work around my client’s schedule to fit their needs.
