Pet care experience
I am a nyc high school teacher with lots of holidays off and free on weekends. I love helping owners dogsit because a dog should not be alone at home. I love all dogs and would like to expand my dog training experience in the future. I've adopted a Pug/dachshund mixed 2 years ago. She is the best thing in my life. I have dogsat a few dogs over the past 3 years for friends and family. I am patient, organize, punctual, have CPR/first aid training, love training new/old dogs some tricks, and pays attention to small details in dogs (allergies, behavioral problems, triggers, etc.). If something happens, I will contact the owner ASAP by phone or email. There is a vet nearby my house with great staff that is 2 avenues and 4 blocks away. I am an outgoing, friendly, and strict person. I do not like last minute changes because it will mess up the plans I have that day. But I am flexible if we keep in contact before the scheduled day(s). Guidelines for dogsitting/boarding: 1. What allergies or health problems does your dog have? 2. Is your dog up-to-date with shots? 3. Is your dog leash trained? 4. Is your dog crate trained? 5. What is your dog's sleeping arrangements? 6. Do you allow your dog to have human food? 7. How does your dog feel about baths/showers? 8. Provide any items or treats that you want me to give to your dog. E.g. dog's bed, dog's treats, dog's toys, dog's food, medication, etc. P.S. I am Chinese so I eat various food. So of you're okay with me feeding your dog authentic Chinese food (no salt, no sugar, no fat), I will give the dog some food after eating his/her dog food. I want to provide the upmost care for your dog so you don't have to worry about him/her. It's your time to relax and knowing that your dog is being taken care of. I also have an indoor camera in the house to keep an eye of my dog when I'm at work or away. It is link to an app through Wi-Fi. It is motion sensor with night vision too. I can provide dog grooming service like bathing, haircutting, and nail trimming. I have practiced with my friend's and sister's dog. They were happy with the result.

Susan is very patient with dogs. I was having trouble walking my puppy and she was able to show me how to properly walk him. She is very caring and careful while taking care of dogs.
Extremely responsible dog caregiver hands down. Everytime i visit Lily, she is always happily playing around as she was taken to classes taught by an experienced dog trainer as well to better understand how to care for dogs. Never aggressive towards strangers or other dogs, and always trying to defend her caregiver, which shows how much love she gets for sure. Never yells at Lily, never really a need to after all, and very patient as a caregiver.
Cannot express in words how compassionate "Sushixd" is towards taking care of dogs. Definitely willing to go the extra mile to give her current dog (Lily) a chihuahua/pug mix the best possible treatment. Evidence of this can be seen on a day to day basis, taking advice from experienced dog trainers as well as bringing Lily along for classes to better keep Lily behaved around other people/dogs alike. Visited Lily many times, and I know for a fact that she is extremely grateful to have "Sushixd" as an owner/human friend.
She is very friendly and loves dogs! reliable and always on time. she is my go to dog sitter since moving into the area. highly recommend :)

I live 1 block away from Marine Park. It is a huge park where I take walks with all the dogs. I have a fenced deck in the back of my house which is pet-friendly. I make sure there are wee-wee pads around my house if the dog needs to go.

There is a huge park near my house, I walk my dog there when the weather permits. I also like to bring my dog to the dog park once or twice a week. After the park, I would bathe my dog to get rid of any dirt, fleas/ticks, and dog drool.
