My husband & I have engaged in rescuing animals for over 30 years. We will stop at nothing to get an animal in distress to safety. Over the years we’ve rescued dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, etc. Our most memorable adventure was the rescue of two 85 pound pit bulls that were tied to a fire hydrant. We had no experience with the breed but knew we had to get these dogs to safety. ‘Safety’ meant they ended up in our home! We couldn’t help but fall in love with the breed and decided we couldn’t part with these amazing dogs. We loved them until their passing. Our last 15 year old pit bull ‘Brie’ passed away in 2022 and left us completely broken hearted. We have since adopted another dog ‘Journey’ in Feb 2023, who absolutely loves other dogs! Maybe your pup and he could be friends for a while :-) Our own friends tell us that if they were a dog, they’d want to live here :-) My husband and I are retired and at least one of us will be home with the pups at all times. Our home will be your pet’s resort and spa while you are away. Fully equipped with toys, leashes, bowls, treats and tempur-pedic beds.
