I have had dogs, cats and horses in my family my entire life. I am the one that my friends call when they have an unplanned trip out of town or an animal that does not feel well. When I lived in Michigan, I volunteered at the Michigan Human Society. I worked there several days a week, and would not leave until every had had gone on a walk and every cat had cuddle time. While in Phoenix, I have served on a non-profit board that supported dog rescue and health. My daughter and I used to volunteer at a local cat rescue, where she would do the cuddling and I would do the cleaning!
