Pet care experience
I’ve parented 2 fabulous dogs in my adult life. My first was a female 65lb rottie-black lab cross. My second was a male 60lb rottie-dalmatian cross. They were both adopted at 6 weeks from the Newington Humane Society. Both were the most special companions I could have asked for and were by my side through some of the best and worst of times. My last pet went over the rainbow bridge last fall and I miss his presence immensely, but am not in a position to take on the commitment of a new puppy at this time. Rover seems like the perfect ratio of commitment-to-pet love for me right now. 😊🦮🐕🦺🐾 I am changing my work schedule and will have many weekdays free to pursue other interests. One of those interests is caring for your beloved fur baby! I will make sure that your baby receives exactly the care I’d want for my pet—love, patience, safety awareness and fun! Just let me know what your priorities are are for your pet, and I’ll make sure I provide it.

A long-time dog owner, Sue is wonderful with dogs (and humans, for that matter). Sue is an exceptionally responsible, respectful and empathetic "dog person". Sue is possessed of good judgment, good humor, and good will, making her a highly reliable and kind person with whom to work. Her experience as a dog owner, her general love of dogs, and her energy and personal character go really well in helping other pet owners with walking and care of family dogs.
Sue took care of my dogs in my home while I was working. Both dogs were elderly with special needs (one was blind). She made sure that they were fed, watered and allowed safe outside time. I had complete trust in her care for my dogs and with her having access to my home. I recommend her highly and without reservation.
I have known Sue for 30 years now and have seen her raise 2 beautiful dogs that were loved beyond words, well trained and never lacked for exercise. Sue is extremely conscientious when caring for her dogs as I am sure she will be with yours. I will always have your pet on a leash outside of the home unless you have a fenced-in yard. I am a very aware dog walker and usually will cross the street if another dog is walking toward us on the same side of the street to avoid any chance of a confrontation. Your dog’s safety will be my first priority.

I’ll ask you what your dog enjoys and make sure we do those things—such as play fetch, frisbee, walk, sniff, play tug-of-war, snuggle, do some training, etc.

I’m currently working part-time and can spend lots of time with your pet most weekdays. I’m a creature of routine and can fit a visit to your loved pet on a regular schedule if that works for you.
