We lost our 15 year old Golden (Addison), and our 10 year old Lab (Lacey) in '14 and '15 :( So, we KNOW BIG DOGS! Addie was still with us when we decided on a puppy for him and are now raising our adorable 3.5 yr. old French Bulldog, Beasley who loves to play with all his Rover visitors. The house is divided up perfectly for our dogs' privacy and freedom to run, wrestle, sleep and walk in and outside at their leisure to a groomed one acre fenced-in backyard. We love to take walks and play in the yard with them while breaking outside from my work. I'm a freelance graphic designer. My husband is retired. My daughter is home weekends. We are home 90% of the day watching the dogs playing and love having their company! About this sitter: Very responsible, fun loving animal lover and dog whisperer. Work outside frequently on my beautiful garden and run a freelance design company from home. My retired golf husband loves the dogs as much as I do. Football and golf in the man cave is a nice option as is sharing our bed! My daughter comes home almost every weekend and during the week on occasion from the city, so there is a lot of hands on activity here for entertainment and cuddling. Why I love dog sitting? I have been a dog lover since I owned my first puppy at 3 years old. A black female Cocker Spaniel named Cindy. She was my best buddy and soul mate until I was 13 years old. I'll NEVER forget her. I continue to think of my dogs as my confidents and soul mates. My pets I'm currently taking care of my daughter's 3.5 year old French Bull Dog, Beasley. He has adjusted very well to all the visiting dogs coming and going. He is bummed when they leave after a short meet and greet and seems delighted when they all return! A field day! He and I look forward to playing with our next visitor and love our recurring friends the most! About my yard I live on one acre with a fenced in back yard and swimming pool. The dogs can wander outside at their leisure, get exercise, run and wrestle. My experience administering medication? yes, I've done it a lot. Pills, liquids, and intravenous.

Susan is incredible! Not only did she still care for our 75lb, 1.5 year old “puppy” a day after having knee surgery, but she truly treated him like one of her own while she recovered. Within hours of us dropping him off, he found his way to her bed for some recovery cuddles! This was only our second time ever leaving him and she made us feel completely at ease; she’s loving, attentive and has created a true doggie oasis between her house and beautiful backyard. I will use Susan for all of our future overnight needs and would highly recommend her to anyone!
Susan is amazing. I could tell from the very first moment we walked into her back yard she truly has a love for dogs. Winston and Willow fit right in with her crew for daycare! Easy to schedule, responsive, and friendly. I appreciate it! We will be back for sure in the future.
Susan is an amazing dog sitter! She is experienced and thoughtful and genuinely enjoys being around dogs. Her home is perfect if you have an active dog that likes running, swimming, being active etc. Ranger loved his time with Susan and we will definitely book her again!!
I highly recommend Susan for anyone looking for a pet sitter. She was warm and friendly and super patient with my labradoodle who has developed separation anxiety since Covid. You can tell she loves dogs. Her yard is big, safe and beautiful for the dogs to roam and get exercise and she was a pleasure to deal with. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!

I would prefer the dog is not an alpha watch dog who barks a lot. If the breed is over 50 lbs., depending on the age and breed, I will need additional information to keep the peace. As a dog whisperer, I can say I have never had a conflict. Everyone, 10lbs or 100lbs. acclimates and gets along really well.
A typical day
We do a lot of running around the huge yard, barking at walkers with their dogs and joggers, wrestling, tug of war and ball fetching. I'm always playing music during the day and TV at night. Walks, depends on number of dogs, but as a group they get exercise and sun in the yard all day. All members seem exhausted in front of the TV at night! Sleeping arrangements - bring your bed and your bowls! I bring their beds into the BR and we all sleep together. The sunroom and bedroom have French doors and open access for a quick exit, most all day, depending on weather. They have access to kitchen and Den including the couches and our laps! Time I'll spend with your dog? I work from home, so I am here most of the day. My boyfriend is here at night and my daughter comes home most weekends from the city, so there is a lot of hands on love and attention.
