Hi I'm Susan, Licenced with Wigan Council, Licence No. AAL0008 , Insured with PetPlan Sanctuary & Rover.com Most customers book through our Bone Sweet Home - Lords of Dogtown facebook page & are repeat holiday makers. reviews can be found on our page. We are a family of 5, husband Seamus & 20 year old daughter Gabriella & our dogs, Zukie & Memphis. They are not just our dogs but our closest friends. Our female dog Zukie is 6 yrs old, she is a Blue Merle Border Collie who is extremely playful and high spirited and loves to be social. Also we recently adopted Memphis our Frenchie of 4 yrs, he is a gorgeous, playful & full of character. We live in a 3 bed detached, which has ample space for dogs to play & are able to care for small- medium & large dogs. Our back garden is fully fenced and secured even for the most adventurous dog. I offer a caring home and safe environment for home boarding, where your dog will be looked after as part of our family & playmate for Zukie & Memphis. Your dog will be loved and cared for along with plenty of exercise & a great deal of fun. If the dogs rest on furniture, this isn't an issue, we have plenty of blankets for them to snuggle into. Don't forget your doggies bed and toys, treats, so that their stay is as comfortable as possible. We live just a few minutes' walk from a couple of playing fields and a short drive to 2 other local nature parks, Lilford Woods and Pennington Flash. We take Zukie, Memphis & the others in our care out daily. We are happy to follow any requirements/rules that will apply to your dog/dogs & look forward to welcoming them into our home. Daily updates are also posted on our page on facebook & we prefer to whatsapp owners daily with pictures & videos of their dogs holiday. We only accept dogs that are neutered & spayed

Susan and her family looked after my 6 month old yorkiepoo Maisie for 4 nights while i went away with work. She kept me updated with regular photos and videos on whatsapp and i felt completely at ease leaving Maisie with Susan and her family. There are lots of brilliant walks where the house is situated and the family even helped to train Maisie with her recall! Maisie had a fantastic holiday and is currently recharging! I'm really impressed with how Susan and her family cared for Maisie and can't rate them highly enough :)
Left my 2 dogs with Susan for just over 24 hours. I enjoyed regular updates via whatsapps about what they've been up to and lots of pictures and videos. I felt completely at ease leaving the boys with Susan despite it being the first time using dogbuddy- this was due to her friendly personality, updates of the dogs and her active attitude towards caring for them. Really impressed! Will be using again
Left my 2 dogs with Susan , and so impressed with her, Im ready to book with her again 1 of my dogs has 3 legs , and does require a little more care and attention , less walking and minimum jumping, Susan was very understanding and not phased by his requirements ,and my other dog, dossed at being away sometimes , resulting in foot chewing, and small bald patches of skin , Susan spotted this and called me to clarify, but I was unavailable for a few hours and so Susan contacted my vets and made an appointment with her local vet, which ultiamtely not required , as I made contact prior to appoinment , thanks you for spotting Susan When i collected my dogs , it was obvious they were having a wonderful time, Susan also washed their bedding prior to being collected and sent them home with a large chew each , lovely touches,thank you so much Susan definitely appears to enjoy having the dogs around her , and is dedicated Thank you so very very much , B&M will be back soon :-)
Really impressed. Not just with Susan, but the whole family seem to have embraced the dog sitting enterprise which makes it an even better experience for the dogs. They all involve themselves in the care, exercise and entertainment of the dogs so there is plenty of human contact as well as numerous other dogs to interact with. Our 3 month old Cocker Spaniel (Zaba) has definitely benefited from spending time with Susan, her family and the other dogs she looks after. Susan puts lots of pictures on FB and WhatsApp during the day which is a great way of keeping in touch with your pet.
