You're Dog is My Dog!

Pet care experience

I am a longtime animal lover! I was raised with two dogs, multiple cats, a rabbit, and various hamsters and mice! As an adult, I started out with two cats. One lived to be 19 and the other, 20. After having cats for so long, I really wanted a dog and ended up with two rescues. I successfully trained both of them, with a ton of patience, treats, and lots of praise. Oliver, my Australian Terrier, passed away in 2018 and my baby girl, Lola, a Chihuahua recently broke my heart and suddenly passed in November of 2020. I had the honor of being their Mama for 15 and 14 years, respectively. I am not afraid to get down on the floor to greet. play and give affection to your dog(s) and enjoy dogs of all breeds and sizes. I love to walk, play fetch, and promise to ensure a great experience for your pet whether on a walk, home visit, or an overnight snuggle. I look forward to meeting your furry family soon! Check out my profile for available services. I work part time, but have a very flexible schedule. That said, unfortunately Rover‘s app does not allow for a lot of specifics… For instance, pick up and drop off times must be prior to 8 PM. If you are unable to pick up your pet by 8 PM, please reach out to me to make specific arrangements. With the exception of my boarders, I do not do walks after 5 PM. Due to the apps limitations, it will show that my limit is 3 PM, but please feel free to reach out to me, and depending upon your location and my availability, I’ll do my best to work something out. Please feel free to always reach out to me and I will get back to you promptly. I will no longer accept large puppies… Particularly those that are untrained. Please feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss specifics. My number one priority is your dogs safety and that of my own. When walking your pet, I am very careful to avoid direct interaction with other dogs, yet still provide a playful experience for your pet. I’m exceptionally careful after dark, and carry pepper spray and a 911 emergency button that includes GPS… One push of a button and help will be on the way.

Susan always takes great care of our senior dog. She follows his lead on how far he wants to walk. She sends pictures and keeps in touch with us.

I appreciate that Susan took the time to send several pictures and give continuous updates while I was traveling. I know my pup was in good hands. We will definitely use Susan services again. ?
