I love dogs and can not pass one in the park without greeting it and petting it. I grew up with a medium-size mutt dog that my brothers and cousin rescued, an abandoned dog they discovered while hiking. My recent dog sitting experiences have been with a senior Jack Russell terrier mix, a young cockapoo/shih tzu mix, two Golden retriever sisters, a cockapoo, a Corgi, a Coton de Tulear, a Labrador retriever puppy and a Havanese. It's fun getting to know such a variety of pooches. I also have experience with cat sitting, recently doing drop-in visits for a home with six cats. I give dogs exercise, either by walking them or playing with toys, (usually both.) I have given dogs oral medicine when necessary, hidden in food. I have dealt with vomit, poo and pee accidents in the house and cleaned some carpet. I soothe doggies during thunder storms. I am very affectionate with animals and will give lots of petting, belly rubs and probably some human kisses.
