Loving sitter on a country lake
Pet care experience
Our family has raised three beautiful golden retrievers and dog sat for lots of friends and family over the years. We most recently cared for our 14 year old beloved dog, Duke, so we have lots of experience with senior dogs, giving medicine, and special diets. Our home feels empty following our recent loss. We take lots of walks around the lake on trails and have lakefront property so the dogs can swim in the summer. Many have called our lake DOGGIE HEAVEN because it is such a wonderful, special place.

We have a large backyard and plenty of room for dogs to run and play. We live on a private dirt road with very little traffic. We have lots dog toys and treats to make your pup feel right at home. Recently I have taken up baking homemade dog treats and cakes. We are happy to crate your dog overnight if that is your routine.

Let me know what your dogs needs areas far as feeding times, if there are medications etc. Let me know the rules your dog follows at home concerning being on the furniture and treat giving. Am I able to take your dog in the car to visit my elderly dad? Can I take them off the leash for throwing and fetching activities such as frisbee, What time do they generally eat?
A typical day
We generally can go for a walk down to the lake. We have a two mile dirt road loop as well as other trails that veer off the road. Our backyard is large and lots of opportunities for playing catch or enjoying the outside.

Availability
I'm semi-retired so I have plenty of time to play, walk, and care for your pup. I'm currently only working Wednesdays and Thursdays . I spent a lot of time caring for our golden who recently passed and have lots of free time to hang out with your pup.
