Pet care experience
I am a 37 year old female living in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with lots of experience and love for dogs! I owned/raised an Australian Shepherd for 15 years and babysit my friends dogs regularly in addition to Rover. I live in a studio apartment on the waterfront with a dog park right in front of my building as well as a park nearby and walking paths. Boarding with me includes 3 walks per day, but I can include additional walks as needed. I am able to provide transportation to the vet in case of an emergency, take your dog to the groomers, and also administer medication, as my dog required this when she was getting older and I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife. It is best if your dog is friendly to other dogs and kids as I have a bunch of dogs and kids in my building! I am not currently working and am home most of the time. Tony’s usual sitter was busy so we found Sunny super last minute and she was GREAT! Met up with us before hand, took tony to the dog park, gave him cuddles, and sent me lots of pictures and videos. 100% recommend!
Sunny was a wonderful sitter for our pup, Puku. We felt so comfortable welcoming her into our home. We not only have Puku but we have a wonderful home with two daughters so felt it had to be someome we could trust. Puku was so well looked after and Sunny sent daily updates with photos. She even bought her a new ball and some treats. We would most definitely have Sunny back again to saty in our home and look after Puku.
We highly recommend Sunny for dog sitting! We needed someone at the last minute to watch Brie, our Australian Shepherd, over the holidays. Sunny responded right away and after meeting her in person we felt very comfortable with her watching Brie. Sunny took great care of Brie and sent us daily updates and photos. Brie wasn't just boarding with Sunny, she was part of Sunny's family during her stay. Sunny took her to the dog park and took the time to bring Brie with her when she went out for coffee, to hang out with friends, etc. Prior to her stay with Sunny, Brie had never been boarded or left with strangers, so we were so happy and relieved that she could stay with someone like Sunny who cared for Brie just as we would care for Brie! Sunny was great with my pup. She is very thoughtful, gives detailed feedback, and lots of sweet pictures and updates. Highly recommend!
