we hired Sumni for a 5 day stay for our dog and two cats. when we were on vacation, we thought things were going well! Sumni was communicative and alerted us when issues or concerns arose. That all changed when we got home. When we arrived home after our stay, our pets had no water. Mind you, we have a system where you only need to refill it every other day or so. we free feed and leave food out for our dog and cats all the time (meaning you typically only need to refill once every day or so. When we got home, our dog had no food and our cats had very little left in their bowls. Upon review of our camera that we have to monitor litter box use, water and food consumption, we found that Sumni neglected to refill their water a single time over the course of 5 days. Furthermore, we discovered that she brought a dog with her during her stay. You’ll see that on her profile, it lists that she has a dog, so I inquired in my initial message asking if her dog would be staying at our house during the stay. She told me that her dog lives at her parents house and that she does not live with her dog and her dog would not be coming. She never once updated us to tell us that her dog would be staying with us. We had a meet and greet with Sumni and if she had been honest about bringing a dog with her, we would have included her dog in the meet and greet so we could have our dog and cats meet her dog. Because she was not honest, she did nothing of the sort, so we had no way of knowing if our animals would all get along. We felt that our trust was completely violated and that if she was dishonest about bringing a dog with her, that she may have been dishonest about other things. All we wanted was for transparency and care from Sumni and we feel that both of those needs were violated.

Sumni was so amazing, we will definitely be using her again! She sent pictures of our boy while we were gone, kept us updated, and was very flexible. I would definitely recommend Sumni to anyone needing to have their fur baby cared for!
