Pet care experience
Hey! My name is Summer and I am a seasonal forest service employee. I really enjoy dog sitting and meeting different dogs or puppies. I also enjoy getting all of the energy out of dogs, wether it being fetch, walks, dog parks or rough housing. I will bathe, clean up, shots if necessary. I’m good with all ages of dogs, hyper, sick, injured etc. I’m good with snuggling at nighttime or if training needs to be done, I’m very focused on teaching dogs obedience. Your dog will think I’m just like you and will enjoy my presence while you are away! I will also be available to check on your dog very frequently and not leave them for long hours. I enjoy engaging with your animal and treating them like my own. I strive for connection! I enjoy long walks and learning/teaching new tricks.

With the rise of this largely unknown, highly contagious and dangerous kennel cough going around, we found ourselves cancelling our dog’s boarding at her local daycare and looked for a last minute house sitter to take care of our sweet dog while we were out of town for thanksgiving. Summer swooped in and saved the day with 24 hours to go before our trip! She sent us daily photos of and updates and gave us peace of mind while we were gone. We’re so thankful for her help!
Summer is really nice and has been so great to my little Philly! :) Philly loves going to hang out with Summer and her puppy, Piper. Philly has a great time playing with Piper and I can tell she's had a great time because she is pooped and sound asleep when she is home! :D I could tell Summer cares about our pup because she'll ask questions to ensure Philly's needs are met (Philly is a deaf pup so communicating with sign language is vital). So glad we found Summer and Piper to have Philly spend some time with when we are at work!!
Summer was fantastic and filled a super last minute request! My husband and I were at the hospital so Summer was able to accommodate for us! Griffey seemed so happy when we got home and would recommend to anyone for house/pup sitting.
Summer Vogel loves animals and it shows in the way she interacts with them. She also portrays a superior personality so the dogs and cats know she is not only in charge, but that she loves them as well. Summer would be an excellent fit for any caregiver position given her and it would show in her work ethics.
