Hi! My name is Summer but I have been in the process of changing my legal name so I go by Ophelia! I am a fur mom with some anxiety so I joined Rover so I could still work with animals! I'm currently offering boarding and daycare, for the winter months! I've had animals all my life and did 1.5 years of veterinary assistant training through Harker Heights High School where I was taught first aid, basic medical, and basic grooming. As an animal lover I put the animals in my care as my top priority. Leaving an animal in someone else's care is hard enough, so my goal is to not only make you as a fur parent comfortable, but to make your babies as comfortable and happy as I can! In order to do that for you, I require a meet and greet before we book any boardings or daycare. For boarding I do require a kennel, I do have a spare if needed, for rest time and overnights so everyone is safe and secure! For any questions please feel free to send me a message! Herbie absolutely loves going to everyday, he gets excited as soon as I turn on the street. It makes life so much easier knowing my puppy is good hands while I’m working!
Absolutely fantastic! I could really see how caring Summer is, and how much Moby took to her. We will definitely be booking again!
I have used Summer many times to do stop ins for my 2 dogs and 2 cats while out of town. She spends about an hour playing with the dogs, feeding, and watering. Also making sure liter is clean and cats and watered and feed. She also makes sure our older dog gets his medications, and gets his daily walks. She is an amazing animal lover.
Summer has cared for my birds before and they loved her! Everytime she came they would sing with her and she was always very gentle and nurturing. I have also met her animals. They all love her very much and the cats do tricks! She cares so much about animals and always made sure she had all the information about my animals needs and wants. I would definitely recommend her to people who only want the best for their pets!

All of my animals are kennel trained but since there are 5 people in the house they are rarely kenneled. We also take walks daily to ensure everyone is getting their daily exercise!

I need proof of vaccinations to ensure the safety of not only your pets, but other pets I have contact with and also the animals in my home. They will also need to be dog AND cat friendly but will always have the option to relax in their own space when getting overwhelmed so a kennel is needed. We have an XL kennel but we only have 1 extra.
A typical day
Stimulating animals is so important and that requires looking at the breed as well as the animal's personality! Taking walks, maybe adding an extra turn or going a different route to let them get in some new smells, or using stimulating toys to help work their brain power! Every little bit counts.

I currently work through Rover full time so I dedicate all of my time to working with the animals in my care! I also have dogs and cats if my own so I do 2 daily feedings and daily walks!
