I have a 17-year-old Shiba Inu named Chazz who I adopted from the Humane Society when he was just 3 years old, and he is the love of my life!

Summer was great at communicating and she saved us with a last min dog sitting! I highly recommend her as she was very friendly and showed up right on time!
She was amazing, she provided care at short notice. Made sure our Aussie who is super energetic would use up her energy. Provide comfort while we were out of town. I would highly recommend her to anyone or everyone
My normally standoff-ish dog immediately took to Summer as soon as she walked in the door. In our meet and greet she asked great questions so you could really tell she knows what she is doing which put me at ease. Summer has watched my pups twice now and one of the stays was very last minute and she was super responsive. She kept me updated while away and sent great pics. Will definitely be booking her again!
Summer is a great house sitter. She is attentive, respectful, and took wonderful care of our fur babies. She left our house clean, tidy, and sent a lot of photos while we were away. We will definitely be booking Summer again in the future!

I typically get myself used to the home so I know where things are, then I'll usually spend a lot of time playing and snuggling with your pet. I always try to keep things that shouldn't be chewed or eaten out of reach and if there's a mess I'll clean it up immediately.
Information Summer M. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences since I love all of them but I would like to know your dog's general temperament as well as how they are around other dogs, how do you deal with bad behavior and how do you reward good behavior, if your dog has any allergies, what triggers does your dog have, can they be left alone and for how long, and if they have any quirks that I should be aware of!
A typical day
If the dog(s) enjoy a routine walk, then we shall start the day with a good relaxing walk. If they do well at a dog park, then we can also go there for a time so they can socialize and run around, though I will make sure to keep an eye on them and other dogs to make sure they are safe. We can play in the yard, or we can snuggle on the couch! And you will always receive updates and photos while you're away!

A lot of my experience comes from being around a variety of animals since I was a kid and learning whatever I can about any species either through books, documentaries, or volunteering. I started working with Rover around 2018-19, and cared for quite a few family pets during that time, most of the jobs being ones for house sitting. I took a break from Rover to focus on my studies (and then COVID happened), but I am back to help take care of more family pets while I'm at PSU earning my bachelor's.
