I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I am a huge animal lover and have experience with small dogs and large dogs. I am currently a foster for dogs through Mitten Mutts Dog Rescue and the Bay County Humane Society. I absolutely love fostering and volunteering with animals with a passion! I’m a Certified Nursing Assistant with a part time job at a nursing home. During my free time on my days off, I volunteer as a dog walker at the Bay County Animal Services and Control. Through my experiences at animal control, I've been blessed with the opportunity to work with so many different animals and learn how individual and unique each animal is. I am very patient and willing to work with dogs that might need a little extra love. I have worked with dogs who require physical assistance, fostered dogs who I had to help walk, administered oral medications, & administered injected medication for dogs I have watched. I’m active and am looking for a job that allows me to work with dogs and/or cats. I know it can be quite nerve wracking to let someone else look after your pets, when they become family to you. I am always willing to do meet and greets prior to the time you need me, to make you and your animals feel more comfortable with me! I have absolutely loved all of the animals I've been able to work with through Rover, and can't wait to continue! Thank you for your consideration! I have a fenced in yard at my house, and two friendly dogs who love to spend time with new friends! I always keep an eye on the pets that I'm sitting and make sure to follow any given instructions with peoples pets. I go to school full time, though I have 4 days with no classes, and only have 3 hour long classes. In between classes & on my free days I am free to hangout with your pup for as long as you need me! :) While other dogs are staying at my house, I closely keep an eye on them throughout the stay. I seperate them while feeding in case any food aggression arises. I have a fenced in yard and also accompany them out there. I am also used to having to squeeze through a doorway to leave the house as I’ve always had dogs growing up that were runners. Safety is a huge priority for me.
