Hi there! My name is Summer and I am your helping hand in taking care of your dog. I’m a freelance photographer and video editor and have a flexible working schedule. I’m an extremely dependable, reliable and communicative person - I always want the owners and pets to feel 100% comfortable with me. I am experienced with small, medium and large dogs, taking care of them for days and weeks at a time and I have also had a dog previously. I am available for a variety of pet services including walks and house drop ins, house sitting and dog boarding during the weekday and weekend. I’ll tire your dog out by running with it, playing with it, tug of war, tricks, you name it, and keeping its mind active and sharp. I am a HUGE dog lover and I have a big heart for these animals and will do my due diligence to keep them happy and safe while they are in my care. Can’t wait to meet you and your pup! Cheers :)

Summer just loves dogs! Our dog Emma loves Summer as well! Emma is always excited to see Summer. Summer goes above and beyond in her care including walks and many updates; and follows our instructions regarding Emma's care perfectly. We are never worried about Emma while we are away if Summer is watching her, she gives such peace of mind.
First time ever leaving my dog and I don't think anyone else could have made me feel as comfortable about doing so as Summer. During our meet-and-greet she asked many questions so she could care for my dog as best as possible. Beaux (my dog) seemed very happy with his stay and Summer kept me updated on how he was doing. I will absolutely be looking to book with Summer in the future!

It is very clear that Summer is a well seasoned dog sitter. I could tell through our discussions and her check ins that the dogs were well looked after. When I picked them up they seemed very happy and calm. Summer is very responsive through the Rover app and I highly recommend her!

A typical day
I live right by Peninsula Park so I can take the dog on plenty of walks, runs, and activities chasing the ball or playing fetch. I love to go on hikes, camping, outdoor activities with friends. We can go on walks in the neighborhood where it’s quieter or we can go to a dog park if your dog is able to go off leash. We can play fetch in my huge yard or play ball and tug of war. The activities are endless! My dog Luca an Australian Shepherd / Border Collie is really good with all sorts of dogs and can play with your dog a ton too!
