Pet care experience
I've loved animals since I can remember. Over my 30 years of experience, I have worked three times as a veterinary assistant, many times as a pet and house sitter, and thousands of hours as a volunteer for animal rescue groups. I am comfortable caring for most types of animals, furry or feathered - and even scaled. I can transport them to vet appointments, administer medications, cuddle, walk, train and other household chores to make your day easier. I am also available for extended and overnight stays. I practice positive reinforcement training and believe that our pets are family members. I will provide top-notch care to your babies and I have wonderful references to back up my experience. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones!

Summer provided the most amazing service. 1st, we have never boarded our dogs, so a friend suggested Rover. I sent 3 requests to various people, and I didn't hear back from anyone. Then a couple weeks go by, thinking I'm going to have to break the bank and pay an enormous boarding fee. But I tried again. Summer was a new choice, and she responded immediately. We had our meet and greet, and we were comfortable with her from the start. She took care of our 8 year old puppies for almost a month, while we were moving from one house to another, and had to wait to get into the new house. She sent us pics and videos, and shared some funny things our Wilson did. And we were able to visit a couple times a week. She made a very stressful time in our life much better, knowing she was taking such good care of our puppies!
Our dog, Scout, had a great time with Summer! She kept us updated with pictures during his stay and was very quick to respond to any questions. I could very easily tell that she loves animals and was showering him with affection the whole trip. I would definitely use her again!
Boarding Kona with Summer was a fabulous experience! She is truly a dog loving person and put me at ease about leaving my older dog with her. I’d highly recommend her to anyone!
Summer was amazing with our Great Dane/mastiff boy. We received pictures and videos of all the fun he was having. I have never used a pet sitter before and was a little nervous on how he and us would do. Meeting Summer and her family prior to boarding eased any hesitation we had. Her experience was a major factor in choosing her. I will recommend her to anyone needing someone who will treat your pet like family. Thank you Summer!
