Sumera is the best! My dog Charlie is a big guy (120 lbs), so when we were going out of town for 4 nights I was worried about finding a dog boarder who isn’t overwhelmed by his sheer size (and his occasional loud bark). She is very experienced with dogs and it shows. We did a meet-and-greet the night before dropoff and she knew how to get Charlie comfortable with her — he quickly warmed to her and her nice roommate. I could tell he felt comfortable in her house. After dropoff, Sumera sent updates multiple times a day with details and lots of photos. It looked like Charlie was having a blast. He was happy when we came home but I could also tell he was not desperate for attention like he sometimes is after we board him at a bigger dog boarding place. I wish we met her years ago! Sumera was great! My dog can be anxious but he settled right in and Sumera sent multiple updates a day. She only takes one dog at a time and has a backyard, a rarity in the city. Pick up and drop off was super easy and I was able to extend an extra day when our travel plans got messed up. Will definitely book again!
