Dogs can make any day brighter. Their companionship is invaluable. Whenever a dog crosses my path, they stir up love and compassion in my soul. That’s why, in addition to owning dogs for more than 20 years, I have also opened up my home to fostering stray dogs--ensuring that they are in robust health, then re-homing them with great families. Playing with dogs brings me joy! I love that by playing, exercising, and cuddling together, I can make dogs’ lives better, too. Separation is a challenge for pets and their humans alike. My goal is to make sure that your dog is happy as can be, and that you have a wonderful trip knowing your loved one is in great hands. I’ll keep you informed and involved from our first contact through the end of your stay: meet-and-greets, follow-ups, photos, updates, and so on. The experience will be completely personalized for you and your dog. My schedule is flexible, so I’ll have lots of time to devote to your pup. One of the advantages of my approach is that we’ll form a fast friendship, bonding through shared activities, games, exercise, and snuggles. They’ll trust me because my actions show that I am there to keep them safe, provide love and comfort to them, and give attention and care so they know they’re loved at all times. I’m quite active; I’m actually a health coach, too! I love exercise, and will walk or run with your pup to ensure that their energy is put to good use. I love to explore new neighborhoods--I’m still new to Nashville, and there’s so much to discover. Depending on your preferences, we can hike new trails, go to the dog park, and take daily jogs. I’ll check in about exercise needs and restrictions to make sure that your dog gets exactly what she needs! I’ve owned large breeds such as Bernese Mountain Dogs and Great Danes. Currently, I have my 9-year-old little man, Gilbert, who is a Min Pin. I love working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’ve also owned cats and horses and spent time on farms, so please contact me if you have other pets who need looking after. I’m comfortable with most furry animals out there!
