Pet care experience
I will be unavailable to respond to any requests from April 16th - April 20th. I will respond upon my return to any messages and boarding requests. Thank you for your patience. If you're anything like me, your pets are like family! I faced a lot of difficulties when I was looking for someone to take care of my dog (sadly no longer with us). I realized that other services would close early evening and open 12+ hours later. Outside of business hours, no one would be there to give our pups that "right before going to bed" break, even more when our pup is older. I want your pet/pets to have that! I believe that pets should have the freedom of being at home and going to bed comfortably. How else would you have peace of mind? With my passion for dogs and this mission in mind; I decided to make pet care my work! As someone who grew up on a farm, volunteered at the Jacksonville Humane Society, dog-sat for friends and family through the years, and now growing my experience through Rover; I am well-versed in handling dogs of all sizes and conditions, including grooming, bathing, medicine dispensing, and dietary requirements. I am committed to providing your pet with the best care possible! I am happy to offer private/single pet/pet family bookings, answer any questions, and offer necessary accommodations. Simba and Kiki absolutely loved their stay with Suilen. She sent me soooo many pictures it was amazing they were always outside having a great time. So happy my pups got to have a great vacation while I was away. Suilen was very welcoming and made sure I knew they were being well cared for getting treats and helped made sure they ate enough while I was away. Also I needed to change my trip way more times than usual and Suilen was extremely accommodating which I greatly appreciate. Thanks again and we will be back!
Suilen, kept my over-energic lab for the first time for 10 days. As you can imagine I was nervous with leaving her with someone new for so long. I met with Suilen prior to the stay and she learned everything my doggie needed. I was so happy with her regular communications, pictures, outings with the doggie everything. I would likely recommend her for animal care. Suilen thank you , you allowed me to enjoy vacation!
First day, fun day for my sweet girl and Suilen sent me pictures of my happy girl to keep me informed the entire day. She took great care of her and Kahlua made a new bestie also. So great we are going back later this week! Thank you Suilen!
Highly recommend! She is one of the BEST Pet sitter I had for King. I can tell she was all about King .I can see how happy he was with her. She kept me updated with everything! I will definitely be using her again!

Our backyard faces a lake with ducks that most dogs find very interesting to stare at throughout the day. The bird variety creates a great atmosphere; a glass door faces outside. Every 2-3 hours, pups get a potty break/walk. Twice daily/depending on the pets' physical capacity/needs, I take them on long walks for 20-25 minutes, along with multiple shorter walks in between. Of course, I stick by the "right before going to bed" bathroom break to ensure your pup is comfortable through the night.

Please let me know about any specific behaviors that I should be aware of while taking care of your pet. For instance, if they are afraid of other dogs during walks or if they are generally social. If they have any difficulties eating during the first day of their stay and if that is normal for them. I am happy to schedule meet and greets in advance to help you and pet prepare for your trip!
A typical day
Mornings begin with a walk before it gets too warm outside. The fresh morning breeze is every dog's favorite, sniffing the neighborhood and exploring. Upon return, they get a treat and some icy water. Once resting, they get fed depending on every dog's dietary needs/schedule. After a few hours, they return and use the restroom if needed. That schedule repeats every 2-3 hours until dinner when I walk the neighborhood for about 20 minutes and feed them accordingly. Indoors, I usually keep them busy throwing toys or exercising them with tricks-for-treats. Instrumental music or dog podcasts (which read them stories, and they have someone to listen to as well) are played throughout the day. Of course, cuddles and pets are always a given ❤️
