I have had five dog buddies over the years, four have been Siberian Husky's. My current dog is three and high energy. We visit the off leash dog park daily, as well as take a good leashed walk. I have been working at a dog daycare and overnight facility to get familiar with the business. I also worked at a daycare/kennel/breeding facility. I prefer the non kenneled environment over the kenneled environment. I have had multiple stays for extended periods, which worked out great. I prefer spending time with animals, rather than people. I have been trained and have experience with injections, both subcutaneous and intra muscular. I have had experiences with injured dogs while hiking. One situation, one of my Husky's at 14 got her hips stuck in the mud of a beaver pond, and strained her hips so bad trying to get out, she couldn't walk. My friend and myself built a stretcher out of sticks, used our coats for the sling, and carried her for three miles to the car, then off to the vet. Due to asthma, I am not able to stay in a home that the residents smoke cigarettes. My asthma is under control with medication, however, cigarette smoke sets it off. Cat care will be on a case-by-case basis.
