Pet care experience
We are a pet loving family of four (two teens) with a large, flat, fenced yard. Don and I grew up with all sorts of pets (dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs...) but as an active family we did not get our own pet, which has been disappointing for all of us. We have watched many neighbor’s dogs over the years, we love all sizes and live in a pet friendly area with easy access to walks, grassy area, and opportunities to play. We are also happy to hang out at home with an older dog (or cat), or come to your home and enjoy your pet in their own surroundings. Besides dogs and cats, we have also cared for chickens and reptiles.... not a problem!

My first time using Rover for overnight care and I can’t begin to express my gratitude for Sue. When I met her I felt such relief knowing my boy Turk would be cared for in a loving home. The pictures she sent confirmed that. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency during my time away and had to extend care, but Sue was understanding, sympathetic and accommodating. I could not recommend her more highly.
It's never easy to leave our dog Lois behind, but with Sue & her family we have so much peace of mind while we're away! They make Lois feel right at home, have a nice backyard for her to play in, and get out for some hikes & adventures too. Lois comes home tired & happy, and we'd recommend Sue to anyone looking for the same!
Sue and her family have been wonderful to our dog Lucy. They were attentive to her needs, providing safe walks and cuddles. Lucy absolutely enjoyed the beautiful private yard. Thank you again, Sue!
Sue and family took great care of our dog Lois and gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were on vacation for the weekend! Lois also enjoyed having the backyard to hang out in, something that is much harder to get in SF proper, so this was another benefit of taking her up to their place north of the GGB. Would definitely feel confident leaving Lois again for future stays!
