Pet care experience
It is important to engage the client's training/handling style when walking and/or working with their dog. I take a very compassionate and bonding approach to all dogs that I cross paths with which includes a mutual respect for each and every one of them. It's important for all dogs to have mental and physical stimulation in all aspects of their daily lives. I love to see them smile and be happy as I treat each and every one of them like they were my own. Growing up I had three German Shepherds and a Cairn Terrior as my pack. I have since raised a GSDHusky Mix named Cricket, a White GSD Mix named Mojo, and currently a White GSD MIx named Skylar. Each one of these furbabies has brought me to different levels of understanding the needs and behaviors of our furbabies.

Sue is one of those people that has a great rapport with dogs. She is an experienced dog owner, and has great knowledge of dog training techniques. She asks important questions about the dogs, and their routines so she is totally prepared when she comes to my house, which in turn makes me feel totally comfortable leaving them with her. I have one dog that is an escape artist, so I typically don’t work with dog walkers or dog sitters, but Sue is very responsible, and she understands that my dogs are like my children. I trust Sue completely with my dogs, and I would recommend Sue for any dog care, or dog walking needs.
We needed someone to take our 6 month old Pitbull (Ollie) out for a bathroom break and walk once a day. We met Sue from someone who knows someone who knows someone. When we met her we knew immediately she was a perfect fit. She was interested in our dogs habits, what we like and don't like, etc. Sue spent a generous amount of time with our dog, played with him, left us a "report card", and sent pictures. We work with a trainer for Ollie because of his strong breed and Sue enforced all the training we were teaching him every time she was with him. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement! Her love of dogs is obvious and is a major reason why we asked her to take care of our dog!
I have known Sue for over forty years. I know her to be a compassionate, smart, animal-friendly person. I would trust Sue with each and every one of my own pets. Therefore, I would highly recommend Sue as a pet caretaker.
