Flexible! Experienced! Reliable!
Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs and cats since 2011. I relocated in 2022 to a small farm in Candor from Washington State and am enjoying my Southern Tier clients! I enjoy walking and playing with dogs and can provide home visits in Tioga and surrounding counties. I have experience providing medical care to dogs including wound care and medication administration. My goal is to provide friendly and personalized care to both creature and human clients. I have excellent critical thinking skills and am creative and communicative. I’m a retired RN, am CPR certified, and have great emergency management skills. For my feline clients, I have experience with all ages and temperaments, and can provide attention, love and anything else required per request. I also have experience caring for goats, ducks, and chickens.

Safety, trust & environment
I always schedule a meet and greet with new clients at their home to ensure a good match. For longer overnight bookings I find it helpful to arrange a complimentary short drop-in visit ahead of time so that I become more familiar with your pet to make sure all feel comfortable. Please feel free to ask for additional 2022 references from clients not using the Rover platform.
Information Sue D. would like to know about your pet
Special needs and any relevant needed accommodations are very helpful to know ahead of time. Relaxed and unhurried meet and greets are great for communicating this information, especially if there are multiple medications to administer.
A typical day
I love walking dogs in their own local neighborhood and surroundings, which helps to foster great relationships with neighbors and other dogs. For dogs and cats at home, I am happy to play fetch, chase, and anything else fun, entertaining and safe.
