Stormy went ABSOLUTELY above and beyond when It came to the care of my pup! ❤

Few things before we get started, I’ve used the rover service before through other sitters. I make my expectations very clear with the sitters to ensure a smooth experience. Sadly I had a poor and worry some experience with this sitter as she was disregarding my dogs normal routine. I reached out to several sitters last minute to try to find someone to watch my dog. Stormy was one of the first ones to respond and I normally will award to who has the highest rating. Stormy and I chatted and made arrangements for two 30 minute visits per day for a total of two days, we discussed specific time frames and specific things that needed to be done during each visit. The first visit was supposed to take place within a two hour time frame between 4-6pm for a 30 minute period. Stormy arrived during that time but entered my home at 5:17pm and left at 5:24pm. I know this as my house has security cameras and other smart home devices. For those who haven’t used the service before each visit the sitter is supposed to fill out a “rover card”. In short, it’s basically a check in notification that shares with you when the sitter is entering/leaving as well as a status update on your pup. Stormy did not complete a rover card so I got a little concerned and contacted Stormy though the app, to which she didn’t reply. Thankfully she left me her personal number, so texted her. Stormy replied via text message. In this 7 minute visit, Stormy had claimed to let my dog out to the bathroom, feed my dog, and let him back out to the bathroom all within those 7 minutes. When I asked Stormy why she didn’t stay for the entire 30 minute visit and why the rover card was not completed, she explained that she was there to just do the tasks that she was asked of and leave and she never had a client request a rover card before. Long story short, I ended up having to contact and make arrangements with another sitter to ensure my dog was in good hands.
