I'd Rather Be Walking Your Dog!
Pet care experience
After owning several pets, I am currently pet-free but miss having a fur baby in my home. I have cared for dozens of dogs, a few cats, and even a flock of chickens over the past few years. I have worked in hospitality and am currently working from home. My schedule is flexible. I am a homeowner here in the High Country and care for animals primarily in Avery and Watauga counties. I can walk your dog, board at my house or yours, and even offer portrait painting of your pet on request! Cats and dogs are welcome on our sofa and bed. I will treat your cat or dog as if he/she was my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!

Roxie had a great time with Stewart. He took her for a romp in the snow and cared for her every need. We will definitely be back.
We greatly appreciated that Stewart and Linda greeted us outside their house wearing masks when we dropped off Teddy. They are very COVID conscious. We rarely leave Teddy with a sitter as he is our constant companion. We wanted to take a day trip and pets were not allowed. We left Teddy with Stewart and when we picked him up we could tell he had a wonderful time. Stewart had taken him on lots of walks during the day, played with Teddy's favorite toys, and Teddy was returned to us very content and happy. Stewart only takes one pet at a time so Teddy received a lot of attention. If you are looking for a safe, loving place to leave your precious pup, I do not think you could find anyone better than Stewart. We would definitely use him again.
