Pet care experience
After caring for my own three Great Danes, I know the constant companionship, love and devotion dogs, cats, and other animals provide, and should be given. Having grown up with rescues, I know how to read temperament and how to provide more than just food and walks to our four-legged family members. I am a very dependable professional working from home full-time. I have been responsible for a range of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish for periods of a few days to as long as a month.

Our vacation was very much enhanced because were so confident that Stevie would handle our 4-legged kids. Willie and Beanie can’t wait till the next vacation and Stevie’s return!
Stevie did a great job while I was away for 8 days. I have three dogs, of all shapes and sizes with varying medical conditions and I felt very comfortable leaving them in her capable hands.
Stevie did a great job with our two dogs over a long weekend -- it was her first time staying with them and all went very well, in spite of the fact that one of our dogs tends to be nervous with new people! Would trust her any time and plan to have her dog sit for us again soon.
My apologies for a long over due review. Stevie stayed with our fur babies the first week of August. First you need to understand the dynamics of our family....three Great Danes, an old cranky Boerboel, three cats and two birds. So, this is no easy assignment (did I mention having to share the bed also) but guaranteed lots of kisses, snuggles and slobber. Stevie's GD experience drew me to her profile but after meeting her what an amazing young women. She was easily accepted into the family and the Danes knew they were a favorite. Stevie was also flexible as we had a very last minute change in plans and she was able to adjust as needed. In all we couldn't have been more happy having Stevie love and snuggle our very spoiled fur babies.

It is extremely important that every pet feels comfortable when their humans are away. That’s one of the reasons I choose house sitting over boarding. I make sure I learn routines, feeding patterns, any normal or abnormal behaviors and double-triple check medication if necessary. Your pet will be in their space and we will stick to their routine (plus lots of love and attention and a few treats if allowed). Daily Pupdates to the owner will be provided.

Confirm medication schedules and feeding schedules. How has the dog reacted to new people in their space? What is a typical daily routine? If any behaviors change, who do I contact? I love putting together a checklist or info sheet with owners going over all of the above as a reference for the duration of the stay.
A typical day
Treats are a must within reason! I like to make sure the pet gets attention, affection, and exercise. I am an avid hiker and have experience taking dogs sizing from chihuahuas to Great Danes on hikes or woods walks (on leash!) If dogs like to go on car rides, they’re my copilot for the day (weather permitting)

I work from home full time with flexibility. Your pet will likely never be alone (and may want to be from all the attention!) I love having a workday buddy or two to breakup the day.
