HELLO ...... My story started at a young age. I was blessed with the gift of communicating with God's magnificent creatures. I have gained working vet tech experience, knowledge, and wisdom that spans over 30 years in my well-traveled journey. My family and I founded a sanctuary for animals in Washington State that the SPCA recognized. We rescued, rehabilitated, trained, and provided education classes for the care and proper nutrition of all creatures, great and small. We have worked tirelessly with the SPCA for the welfare and prevention of animal cruelty and care. After taking custody of my only granddaughter, I wanted her to experience the unconditional love God's creatures bring to her daily life. I am blessed to have my granddaughter work right alongside me. Rover has allowed me to grow my passion and experience into a loving home business here in Lafayette.

We had a nice meet and greet with Stevie b4 the first day care. The moment we stepped into we immediately loved the vibe of her house. It was small yet clean and cozy. Stevie is knowledge and communicative. My fur baby is usually anxious with strangers. We had tried a few sitters and she acted timid around them, but surprisingly she was very relaxed and chilled with Stevie and her granddaughter. We will definitely continue with Stevie’s day care before transition to future boarding.

I have a very dog-friendly fenced yard that your far baby can have easy access to throughout their visit. But if need be your fur baby needs to be crated there is a lot of room.

I like to know if there are any special needs, health, or behavioral issues. This way, there is very little stress and change in their routine. NOTE: I do allow doggies on furniture and beds if that is allowed by the owners. Not sure why it is said otherwise.
A typical day
I like to go for walks through my neighborhood—trips to the park for stimulating games and playtime. My granddaughter likes to play with dog toys and give treats.
