Lillie came back home very tired which is a great sign that she had more than enough fun with Stevi!

Stevi was great! She was very easy to deal with, responded quickly and sent pics. Sadie was happy when we picked her up. We will definitely use Stevi again!

Fenced yard with full time care

I consider myself a pet lover more then a pet sitter. The set up that I have allows me to keep several dogs without ever forcing them to be alone. We spend most of our time outside on nice days, playing fetch, tug of war, or the dogs love just chasing each other. The dogs in my care are extremely important to me. I sit because I love dogs and can offer personalized care without ...

What Stevi would like to know about your dog

I have a semi-firm schedule I like to keep the dogs on and it can be convenient if everybody is on the same schedule, however if you have a schedule you would like me to follow please let me know.

7am 20-30 min bathroom breaks and prep for morning meal
8am-9am morning meal
9am-11am playtime (inside and outside but this time is devoted entirely to burning off energy and working/playing with the dogs)
11am-1pm I do my housework, plan supper for the family/prep if necessary and do other tasks that might be requested, during this time the dogs are in the room with me or following me around tripping me thru my tasks. Lol
1pm 20-30 min Potty break and then cuddle time in the air conditioner to avoid the hottest part of the day. Obviously this varies during winter months and we go back outside and play or do walks or go hiking. Its mostly my free time to catch up with anything I missed thru the day and just relax and get to know the dogs.
3pm-6pm Potty breaks
** This time will vary slightly depending on the day, may start an hour later or end an hour earlier but for most day care guests the pick up time is around 6pm and I try to make sure the dogs are ready to relax when picked up. If no day care guests are staying or there is a later pickup time the time will be adjusted accordingly and I may cook dinner or eat during this time period.
6pm-8pm Potty breaks/Outside playtime/ Energy burn
8pm Dinner
8:30pm-10pm Potty break and getting ready for bed

When Stevi watches your pet

Exercise & Fitness
A huge yard, plenty of toys and other dogs to play with tend to keep the dogs pretty wore down. If the dogs are not very active in the yard or do not play much I also do walks, either around the neighborhood I live in or on the hiking paths behind my house. As I get more comfortable with how the dog will respond and what they like I may take them for car rides, trips to the park, or swimming. Giving them a lot of different experiences and options to keep them active.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
Sleeping arrangements can vary slightly but I prefer not to have to put them in a crate at night. All of the dogs I care for will be allowed to sleep in the bedroom with me.The living room, kitchen and bathroom are also options but unless asked not to i tend to let the dog decide where it is most comfortable. I have a fairly large room and can put a crate in there if you or the dog are more comfortable with that arrangement. My dog has a special "spot" that he sleeps at night and his blanket is always available. If your dog has a certain spot he likes to sleep, or a special way they like to sleep please let me know. I am very accomodating to not only your needs but your pets.

Time I'll spend with your dog
I would say about 95% of my time is spent at home with the dogs I care for. Of course there is regular life, and errands but I do not take sittings if I know I can not be home with them. My limit for leaving them alone is 2 hours but that is only on very rare occasion. The only time I separate the dogs is for feeding time or if they are not getting along. I will work with them first, try to get them used to each other, normally taking them for a walk together will calm the situation, but I have yet to have issues. I have a "time-out" room (25ft by 25ft), so larger then the average bedroom, that I will use to seperate the dogs and let them calm down if needed and a few trusted contacts to assist me if necessary. They may spend 30 minutes in the time out room but then I will work with them to bring them back into the pack. At this point the time-out room is open and has yet to be used but I do have a plan if problems were to arise.
