Looking to make your pets day!

Pet care experience

I have found a lot of joy in caring for pets since I was 10-12. I have lived with raised several rescue dogs and am looking forward to having visits with your pets. I have been a drop in care taker for our neighbors for several years. Our family recently lost our pets due to old age and an auto immune disorder. However with our young kids it makes it difficult to commit full time to more pets. I volunteer at our kids school in between being a school bus driver with Forest Hills. I recently retired from government work to be home more and work with the school. I am organized, responsible, friendly and have worked with all kinds of people and agencies. I am really looking to have more time with dogs and cats between my routes. I look forward to meeting your fuzzy loved ones.

Great sitter, flexible hours and lots of pictures of the dogs. Has a nice set up and the dogs felt right at home there. Will use more in the future.

I have trusted Steven to care for my dogs any time I've needed for about a decade. He is dependable and loves giving extra care and attention to them, including administering medication and eyedrops as needed. What great news to see that Steven is taking his experience to other families and their treasured pets!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a calm yet fun demeanor that let’s really seem to enjoy. I can spend the time necessary to get to know shy pets and also have energy for the excitable ones. Caring for the safety and well being of each animal is my top priority. That also means getting them the love and exercise they need while their owners are gone. Dog walking, drop in services and eventually boarding at our home is my goal. I’m honestly just excited to meet more pets.

A typical day

In general once I get to know your pet I can really respond to what suites them. If they are an active pet them it’s time for a quick jog or run around the area. We always have time for pets, sniffs and exploration. I have a really good frisbee arm and am pro at tug of war. For our senior pets it involves going at their speed and just letting them enjoy the breeze and they are amazing listeners. :)
