Pet care experience
My goal is to support your relationship with your dog. An assistant who focuses solely on the well being and happiness of your dog. My experience comes from owning one energetic 15 year old dog since he was 8 weeks old, and working as a dog walker for 6 months. As for our relationship, I am a strong believer in responsive and detailed communication. You'll be updated regularly with pics at your frequency level and anything concerning your dog will be communicated to you immediately. My philosophy is simple. Meet great dogs and help them be a calmer, happier dog when their human spends time with them. Mentally and physically exercised so when you see them again, they are calm and happy to see you!

While Steven was watching Casey, I knew he was in good hands. Steven took great care to understand Casey's habits and I love that he kept me informed through pictures and texts for the whole visit. Thank you! Would love to have Steven watch Casey if the need comes up.

Steven watched our greyhound Ellie over a long weekend. He was great to work with! He kept in touch all weekend long, with lots of photos and videos. He took a lot of time to do a meet and greet with Ellie to make sure she and we were comfortable with him, and he was really accommodating with our schedule and requests for Ellie. He had a really kind and gentle touch with Ellie and she really liked spending time with him. We look forward to working with Steven again in the future!

Meet and Greets must happen to make sure we are a proper fit for each other and be shown the relevant parts of your home and where all dog-related items are located. Weather-permitting, a short walk would be helpful to start the relationship. I have no breed preferences. What I'd like from a canine client is very detailed instructions, contact info, preferred walking routes, and emergency procedures.
A typical day
We’ll go to Palmer Square! Lots of open grassy area, and sometimes other dogs, if your dog likes to mingle. Not far away is the Logan Square Dog Park, and lots of grassy areas along Kenzie Blvd. Your dog will be fed on their regular schedule and get plenty of potty breaks. Of course they’ll gets lots of pets and attention. For the most part I work from home everyday, which frees up my availability.
